Radames, the Tzeentchian Daemon Prince of my Chaos Marine Warband, The Warp Scars.

In hindsight, I should've given him more eyes around his body... >_>

He looks like he had his coffee this morning.

If by 'coffee' you mean mortal souls, then yes. :XD:

I should give him a new wash of paint.

i'm not particularly good at critiques, so i'll just leave a comment, but i'll be honest, i might come across a little brutal, as its gone 1am here...
- first off, the pose looks 'OK', i just think the arms could be placed a little better, to show off the trophy better ( i assume that what the defile mask thing is meant to be :P)
- On that point, i think the mask thing in the left hand is a little too small, especially looking at the side view, it seems a little out of place.
- you mentioned that you would've like to have added more eyes to the body, which sounds like an epic idea, imagine a DAEMON PRINCE with hundreds of eyes coming towards you... YIKES!... anyways, the problem is they need to look as though they belong there, unfortunately i'm not feeling the one in his forehead.... the way around this i can see is to use green stuff, and almost create 'pox-marks' on ur demons skin, just an idea.
- i can see what you were trying to achieve with the tzeetch icon, unfortunately just sticking an icon onto a shoulder pad rarely works, and 9/10 looks out of place.
- the next point i'm not to sure about is that the Armour, and especially the sword, just seem too uniform to be something attached to a minion of the lord of change.
- on that point also, this is more of an idea, more than a critique, dont you think it would've looked cooler for him/ her/ IT! to have had different types of wings?
- Now I've saved this point til last, as its something that comes with experience... unfortunately the way you've painted the miniature makes it look very....Flat. now as i mentioned this is something that'll come with experience, and at the end of the day it only ever needs to be painted to a level comfortable for the player, that said you are asking for critiques, so let me start by saying sorry. Ok, first off the bat is the skin, i'd love to say tone but, it seems completely devoid of any shading/ highlights at all, especially on the face where its crucial to bring out the menacing expression. Next, the eyes, although i'm not fond on the way it fits in with the rest of the model, the middle eye is nicely painted... so what happened to the other two? Now i'm not going to go on much more as i've been typing for half an hour, and i'll eventually start repeating myself...

Ok, to finish you'll have prob noticed i haven't mentioned the base, not because its looks particularly great, especially the handle-less sword, its just that i'm not really good at basing myself, hence why all my miniatures are on plain blk bases. Anyways, i'd just like to say, that despite everything i've said, it is still a nice miniature, and with a bit of work on the tones it can be so much better.

hope you don't take it personally, and that my bluntness helps.

Everyone has pointed out my painting skill needing work, and I agree with that sentiment. I've got other shades of blue to use in terms of shading and highlights. So I should really turn my attentions back to this model and see if I can furthur his appearance.

I've got eyes from the chaos spawn kit I can use. Though honestly, the placement of them can be a bit more free-from, since a servant of Tzeentch would be constantly changing one way or another, so the eyes would appear randomly, blink a few times then dissapear.

The wings were whatever I had to work with - this was before I started using e-bay to find parts on cheap.

This was before I started experimenting with new poses for my models, I just assmelbed him as per the instructions from the kit.

Oddly enough, his snow covered base isn't technically finished, as such I'll need to apply more glue to spruce it up a bit.

The Defiler mask is meant to be Radames' own mask to use in battle, if you'd like to see another example of this - check out my other daemon prince, Accalu-sar.

Thank you very much for the critique!
